Cosmos is a healthcare data company that uses medical devices to defend patients from adverse effects of prescription medications. Our origin stems from the devastation of addiction and defending another family from this hardship is our mission.
Cosmos monitors medication adherence between doctor visits to improve patient outcomes. Our flagship product, FortisKap, offers an exquisite balance of security, mobility, and ease-of-access for prescription medications.
Alexander is responsible for executing his long-term vision for Cosmos to evolve into a data aggregation and analytics company. He oversees the strategic implementation of the adherence platform with early adopters. Additionally, Alexander manages the day-to-day business operations and supervises employees and contractors working for Cosmos.
Joseph is in charge of product development, manufacturing, and customer integration. He manages the development firms and the manufacturing facility for the assembly, packaging, and distribution of FortisKap devices. Joseph also oversees the day-to-day patient support, device remediation, and supply chain logistics for Cosmos.
Josh plays a critical role in driving Cosmos’ growth through his focus on market research, project management, and partnership outreach. He is responsible for identifying key market opportunities and potential strategic partnerships that align with Cosmos’ mission. Joshua recieved his MBA from University of Delaware.
Philip has extensive experience in computer vision and machine learning including developing self-driving vehicles for manufacturers including Jaguar Land Rover and aerial survey and analysis for NASA, Air Force, and the Army. Philip holds an MSCS from Stanford University.
Louis is a long time health and public policy expert with a focus in health insurance reimbursements. He is responsible for the regulatory process and approvals required for Cosmos to commercialize FortisKap.
Erem is an industry executive with 20+ years of leadership leveraging disruptive ideas, digital transformation, and experiential marketing to help organizations not only optimize the customer journey but also support product growth and revenue excellence.
Nick is recognized for collaboratively leading teams to develop proprietary products resulting in high-margin revenue growth. He is a chemical engineer with extensive market and business development experience from companies like DuPont where he, with the full support of their executive team, spun out a product concept that he built and sold. Nick is now retired and enjoys mentoring ambitious entrepreneurs. He is married with two children and lives in Wilmington, DE.
Don Rindell has more than 30 years of senior executive experience in the life sciences industry. He has held executive roles in global corporate development, business development, and device & diagnostic technology strategy for several US and European pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Mr. Rindell is currently Managing Director of Camino International, LLC, a consulting practice for Business and Product Development for therapeutics, diagnostics and medical devices. Mr. Rindell received his B.A. degree in Economics from the College of Wooster and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Business.
Debra is an accomplished strategic healthcare executive and entrepreneur with diverse and progressive product development experience in global pharmaceutical and biomedical companies ranging from start-up to Fortune 500. Debra assists Alexander in customer acquisition strategies and alternative funding options i.e. grants, accelerators, etc.
Krishna brings with him 20+ years of experience in translation of non-clinical research and the development of novel therapies and medical devices for 25+ IND's and IDE's submission(s). He has led GLP and NHP studies including hands-on clinical trial experience (Phase I-III, and natural history study) for successful regulatory submissions in the USA and EU.
Howard D. Brenner is a results-driven leader with a proven track record of success in market access, business development and program implementation within the specialty pharmacy and technology sectors. He possesses a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, having driven significant revenue growth and built strong relationships with key stakeholders at HealthBeacon and Optum Specialty Pharmacy. Brenner holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Towson State University. He currently resides in Sanford, Florida with his wife, mother and 3 cats. He has one daughter who recently began her career in graphic design and marketing in New York City
Ashoka Rao is an advisor to Cosmos Pharmaceuticals, supporting the company’s mission at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and resilience. He brings a background in venture capital, go-to-market strategy, and government-aligned innovation, with a focus on helping early-stage companies navigate inflection points and scale impactfully. At Cosmos, Ashoka advises on long-term strategic positioning, partnerships, and value creation.
Justin brings with him decades of experience providing innovative ideas, solving problems, and helping people and companies grow born of many more decades of diverse experience making big mistakes and overcoming adversity. Emphasizing technology, process, and people, he improves efficiency, retention, and the development of new and enhanced products and services. Beyond legal tech and ops, his focus is improving the lives of people with disabilities, especially developmental and intellectual disabilities, veterans, and other groups of living beings historically marginalized and abused.
